"… We were very pleased to find an advertisement for SoPhTec water conditioners. Oct.1995 we purchased the C-500 model. Our water improved some, but we still had calcium deposits when using straight hot water. We decided to add the C-250 model to our system's hot water pipes. Each day after its installation we noticed more and more improvements. The water feels softer, the shower head and coffee pots are not building up with calcium, and we get more suds and use less shampoo, laundry, and dish detergents. Also bar soap lathers easier and no more spots on the car. The pipes in the house must be cleaning out, as we have found flakes of calcium in the faucet strainers ever since the first installation. Now there is less flaking and deposits. If water drys on an object, a white deposit still appears, but now it is easily wiped off instead of needing to be scoured. I don't understand the scientific technology of this equipment, but I can vouch for its effectiveness after having had it in operation for the past three weeks. Where water seems disposed to settle, such as behind the water faucets of my wash basins, no longer do rough darkish stains appear. It also as a great relief to take my glassware from the dishwasher and not find calcium buildup that must be scoured regularly. We run a dry cleaners utilizing three commercial washers. We had the 'salt brine' softening water service but still had scale in our washers and plumbing. We needed more! … The (SoPhTec) system was installed April 12, 1995. We drained the water heater twice in the first two week period, then we noticed the scale really starting to come off the washers.
