The Fine Print
The SoPhTec® Model C-250 and Model C-500 Water Conditioners are unconditionally guaranteed. The SoPhTec® units must be installed and used for a period of 90 days. If within 30 days following the 90-day period a SoPhTec® unit has not performed to your satisfaction, simply return the undamaged unit with the sales receipt to the Distributor from whom the unit was purchased (viz., MagneTec) and your money will be refunded. SoPhTec® warrants the Model C-250 and Model C-500 Water Conditioners to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of ten years from the date of purchase. In the event any such defect occurs within ten years from the date of purchase, SoPhTec® shall repair or replace the defective unit, at its sole option. This warranty shall not apply to damage which occurs in the course of installation, through misuse, by any attempt to disassemble the unit, or by other means outside the control of SoPhTec®.
